At the Clinic

I got sick beginning of last Tuesday night but tough it out till Thursday. But when Friday came, I knew I had to give in and go see the doc or else kill myself at the office. The clinic my bro introduced me to seemed like any ordinary clinic. But it was the patients there that made all the difference, whether it was to be a boring visit or a very interesting one. This visit,I'm happy to say, turned out to be a very interesting one. There were these 2 kids amusing themselves with everything imaginable to while away the time. Especially when it got to playing with their own caps. After playing 'blind men' for a good few minutes, they then took turns to toss their caps back n forth between their grandfather, who being such a cool grandfather, smiled along. But with happy patients also comes grumpy patients. There was this lady who complained,"How come she gets to go in first when we were here before her?". Adults. The sarcastic tone of her voice varies by great degrees from the chirpy voices of the 2 lil boys. Ah,children. Really the salt of the earth. Apart from observing the patients, the doc turned out to be a rather interesting fellow as well. Besides giggling along(he's a giggly but nice sort of chap) with chats about cartoons after finding out about my job status, he gave me a good dose of medication for my ailment which he claims will solve all of the problems I've been having. And it did. I'm happy to report that I was the happiest human being on planet earth at the precise moment I popped those pills into me and felt extreme calm wrapping all over my body within and without. And it made me high too. If you can imagine what laughing is without moving an inch of your body while you're in bed feels like, that would be the closest description as I can come to for that experiece. Aaahhhh....Where are my pills? Time for another dose. Oh,and if you're wondering what the doc's favourite cartoons are...It's the Pink Panther, The Brain and oh! I forgot the other one. Where are my pills?!?

Cheers,folks! #)
